Bart’s best friend, and often partner in crime, Milhouse Van Houten is a Simpsons character voiced by Pamela Hayden.

The character of Milhouse was originally created by Matt Groening for a Butterfinger commercial. He chose the name Milhouse as it was Richard Nixon’s middle name, and he thought it would be unfortunate for a child to be called that.

Milhouse is naive, gullible, and not nearly as cool and confident as Bart. His love for Lisa is unrequited and he often falls victim to Springfield Elementary’s school bullies.

Attitudes towards tattoos have certainly shifted in recent years, but what do your parents think of yours? Would your mum’s reaction to a Simpsons themed tattoo be as positive as Luann Van Houten telling Milhouse that he’s cool?
