You’ll Like These ‘Dumb and Dumber’ Tattoos a Lot!

If you’re a later ’80s or early ’90s kid then you’re probably familiar with today’s film. In the almost 30 years since its release, Dumb and Dumber has developed quite a cult following – I’ll freely admit that I’ve watched this film far too many times.

Best friends, Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels) both find themselves fired (yet again) and unwittingly involve themselves in a kidnap/ransom ordeal which leads them to travel across the country in the dead of winter.

Petey, Harry’s pet bird, becomes the first casualty and, surprisingly, is one of the more popular choices when it comes to Dumb and Dumber inspired tattoos.

Some other notable moments from the film include those iconic orange and blue suits; Harry’s tongue getting stuck on the ice; beer bottles that certainly didn’t contain any beer; a worm farm; and, of course, the Mutts Cutts van.

Don’t be dumb like Harry and Lloyd – don’t copy any of the tattoos here and definitely don’t get tattooed anywhere but a licenced tattoo shop. Simply pick a favourite moment from the film and see what your tattoo artist comes up with.
