The Predator franchise has found itself with one confusing movie timeline. Luckily, it’s clear that these tattoos of the ugliest motherfucker in all of cinema are the best you’ll ever see.
With the release of Prey in late-2022, the film is set in 1719 which predates the other four titles in the franchise. Predator and Predator 2 – where it originally all began – are then followed by Predators and The Predator. There is, however, an argument to be made that The Predator precedes Predators as director, Shane Black, states in this interview.
Throw the Alien vs. Predator movies into the mix and the timeline changes once again.
If you have plans for a Predator movie marathon, you could watch them in the order of their release or (canonically) in chronological order.
Humans often come off second best when confronted with these extraterrestrial species, but it sure does make for some suspenseful and action-packed films. When it comes to your own Predator tattoo, don’t be a victim – do your research so that the finished piece will be the most well executed ugly tattoo that it can be.
If you choose one of these – or any other number of talented and reputable tattooers – you definitely won’t want to camouflage it, you’ll be wanting to show your new tattoo off to everyone.
