Having a bubble bath saw a rise in popularity in the 1960s with products originally marketed to children to make bath time fun. Before the liquid and various products we know today, soap flakes were first used to create foam baths.
Despite what some may think, bubble baths are not exclusively for children. Thanks to the clever marketing of retailers such as The Body Shop, Lush, and Bed, Bath + Beyond, bubble baths have made a comeback for the adult market as somewhat of a form of self care.
