Want to feel incredibly old? Mean Girls was released almost 20 years ago. Kids who were born in 2004 are now adults and old enough to get tattooed. That’s a scary thought.
If you have a child, a niece, or a younger sister, sit down and watch Mean Girls with them. Any excuse to watch the film, right? Better yet, have them read the book Queen Bees and Wannabes (by Rosalind Wiseman) which inspired Tina Fey’s screenplay.
I could go on for days about how much I love Mean Girls, but I would likely just be telling you what you already know. Let’s move onto the tattoo talk.
Despite there being only a couple hundred tattoos to look through, I’m glad to see such a variety of themes and quotes from the movie. The creativity from tattooers to create some cute, quirky and unique Mean Girls pieces is something which can be transferred to other film and television tattoos.
If I’m disappointed by one thing it is that there is no tattoo of Karen reporting on the weather. Who knows, maybe someone will be crazy enough to get it…someday.
Regina George may disagree, but these Mean Girls tattoos are so fetch!
If you copy any of them, however, all I have to say to you is “boo, you whore!”
