The Addams Family creator, Charles Addams named the daughter Wednesday as her personality suited a line from a well-known nursery rhyme: “Wednesday’s child is full of woe.” Any other name would have been wrong.
Wednesday Addams has been portrayed by a number of people across the television series, the films, and stage productions, but the most memorable portrayal was that by Christina Ricci – any ’90s child would agree.
