The Little Twin Stars are angel-like characters introduced to the Sanrio family in 1975. It wasn’t until the early ’80s that brother Kiki and his sister, Lala rose to prominence – a time when the market was flooded with cute and colourful characters, and children just couldn’t get enough.
In 2014, prior to their 40th anniversary, the Little Twin Stars partnered with Care Bears for a range of crossover merchandise released in Japan.
