Supernatural ‘Suspiria’ Tattoos

Suspiria (1977) vs. Suspiria (2018) – which of the supernatural films will inspire your tattoo?

I discovered the 1977 Dario Argento directed Italian supernatural horror film, Suspiria through Dead Meat’s Kill Count episode. The film is partially based on Thomas De Quincey’s 1845 essay Suspiria de Profundis (Sighs from the Depths).

All is not normal in the German dance academy which makes for a delight to the senses – beautiful lighting and set design along with some gore and suspense, all of which can be translated to skin with help from the right tattoo artist.

A little ballet and a little more of the supernatural; if you like some dancing with your murders, then this could be the film for you.

Suspiria was remade in 2018 and was a worldwide box-office failure.

For those of you already familiar with Suspiria go ahead and check out the tattoos below for some inspiration on style and substance.
