Super Clean Mr. Sparkle Tattoos

In The Simpsons universe, Mr. Sparkle is a dish washing detergent mascot in Japan which closely resembles Homer.

Mr. Sparkle’s first appearance was in “In Marge We Trust” (Season 8 – Episode 22) when Homer takes the family’s old Christmas tree to the Springfield Dump. He found a discarded box of detergent and was convinced that the company stole his identity. It is eventually revealed that the company’s mascot was created by combining a cartoon fish and a light bulb.

Mr. Sparkle has since appeared in various ways across several episodes, whether that be just the box, in a commercial or on a billboard, and even as a tattoo in the episode titled “Every Man’s Dream.”

In the 25 years since the episode aired, people still love Mr. Sparkle enough to get a tattoo of him. If you’re a lover of Homer and Homer lookalikes, then maybe Mr. Sparkle could join your collection of Homer tattoo, your donut-head Homer, and your Evil Homer tattoos.
