Forget the TP for Cornholio’s bunghole, spend the money on your own custom Beavis and Butt-Head tattoo to celebrate the show’s 30 year anniversary. This will be the smartest investment you’ll ever make… is what I imagine Beavis and Butt-Head would believe to be true.
Mike Judge, the man behind King of the Hill, Silicon Valley and films such as Office Space and Idiocracy, is the very same person who brought us Beavis and Butt-Head.
It was Judge’s short film Frog Baseball that caught the attention of people at MTV which lead to the development of Beavis and Butt-Head.
Beavis and Butt-Head are two high school best friends obsessed with sex, heavy metal, and television. They were the original social commentators, sharing their opinions on music videos, in between laughing and causing destruction wherever they went.
The animated show debuted in March 1993, with a seven season run, airing until November 1997; 1996 even saw the two hit the big screen in Beavis and Butt-Head Do America. The series was revived in 2011 with an eighth season, bringing the series total to 252 episodes.
Despite the name, Butt-Head is probably the more intelligent of the two. After consuming large amounts of sugar or caffeine, Beavis’ alter ego, Cornholio comes out to play. He pulls his shirt up onto his head and speaks even more gibberish than usual, often repeating the phrase of: “I am the Great Cornholio! I need TP for my bunghole!”
2022 saw the duo return for a second movie: Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe. Have you seen it yet? What did you think? Leave your comments below.
We’re no longer forced to stay home, but get ready to sit on the couch and enjoy some classic episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head (and both movies) – after looking at these tattoos, of course.
