The Simpsons fandom were first introduced to Kang and Kodos in season two’s (the first-ever) “Treehouse of Horror” episode, and have since appeared in all 31 of them.
Part of the Rigellians species, Kang and Kodos are green octopus-like alien species with glass helmets. Harry Shearer voices Kang and Kodos is voiced by Dan Castellaneta; Kang has a deeper voice, but they’re otherwise identical in appearance. Their names were taken from Star Trek characters.
Kang and Kodos made a cameo in the Futurama crossover episode “Simpsorama” and have made appearances in a number of Simpsons video games.
The Simpsons ride was opened in Universal Studios in 2008, with The Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl ride added in 2013. People have ferris wheel and roller coaster tattoos, so why not one of this amusement ride?
Some other ideas include a Kang and Kodos x Futurama mashup tattoo; or add Maggie Simpson into the mix as it was revealed in “Treehouse of Horror IX” that she was actually an alien.
