Bloody Scary ‘Carrie’ Tattoos

Just two years following the release of his first published novel, Stephen King’s Carrie was adapted for the big screen.

The 1976 film, based on the 1974 novel, starred Sissy Spacek and a pre-Grease John Travolta. Over the years, Stephen King’s work has been re-imagined as a 1988 Broadway musical (returning off-Broadway in 2012), a 1999 film sequel, a 2002 television film, and a 2013 theatrical remake.

The novel itself is often banned in US schools, likely due to the theme of revenge against bullies – an issue already plaguing the gun-loving nation.

Carrie is an excellent film, but I suggest exacting revenge on your haters in a non-violent manner: pay them no mind, go off and live a healthy and happy life, and feel free to express yourself with tattoos or however else you please.

Pre- or post-pig’s blood and blissfully unaware or wrecking telekinetic revenge – do you prefer Carrie nice or nasty? These Carrie tattoos, along with the original film, are sure to guide your artistic direction.
