“Macho Man” Randy Savage Tattoos? Ooh Yeah!

Before his wrestling debut in 1973, and well before the “Macho Man” character was born, Randy Savage was involved in baseball, competing in the minor leagues for several seasons.

After spending quite some time in smaller wrestling promotions, Savage made it to the then-WWF in 1985 and showed the world his prowess on the mic and in the ring.

While Savage took on projects outside of wrestling, including film and television roles and voice work, his 2003 album Be a Man proved that rapping certainly wasn’t his specialty – use this as a reminder to choose a tattoo artist according to the style of tattoo you want.

Savage once teamed with Hulk Hogan as the Mega Powers; the two went on to feud in and out of the ring, but when it comes to the number of fan tattoos, Macho is King.

Randy Savage passed away suddenly in May 2011 which saw many wrestlers (including CM Punk) pay their respects in the squared circle, and has certainly inspired people to get tribute tattoos.
