In the mid-90s kids were introduced to yet another (now iconic) Nickelodeon cartoon with the premiere of Hey Arnold! and its main protagonist, Arnold Shortman and his football-shaped head. Over 25 years since the first episode, there have been 5 seasons and 100 episodes of Hey Arnold!, plus an additional two feature-length films.
Hey Arnold! actually finished production in 2001 although, in the US, the final season (comprising of 24 episodes) took several years to air in its entirety. Season 5 began in 2000 and finally concluded in 2004; for those living in Belgium in 2002, they were fortunate enough to see the final 10 episodes before anyone else.
Hey Arnold!: The Movie was released in 2002, before season 5 had even finished airing. Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie released in November 2017 and finally answered many questions fans had, in particular, the location of Arnold’s parents.
