Flower tattoos can hold just as much meaning as a portrait, lettering or a pop culture figure. A flower can bring a person back to a person, a place, or a specific memory, and just like the aforementioned imagery, they can hold zero significance and be chosen purely on their natural beauty alone.
Previously working at Gold Room Tattoo in Leeds, England, Abbie has moved and can still be found in the same city, but at her private studio, Tora, which she shares with her partner and fellow tattooer, Sam Rivers.
I don’t know whether there is or isn’t meaning behind these tattoos by Abbie Williams, but what I do know is that these pieces are absolutely stunning. Whether a single flower, a larger botanical piece, or combined with other visual elements, Abbie always creates art that so perfectly suits the flow, size and shape of the skin or body part made available by her clients.
Those with the knowledge and passion for gardening are said to have green thumbs which is why I believe that Abbie Williams has a green hand when it comes to botanical tattoos. Or should I say she is/has a green machine when it comes to botanical tattoos since a tattoo machine is used in the process?
