These Are ‘Mean Girls’ x Halloween Tattoos, Duh!

“Halloween is the one night a year when girls can dress like a total slut and no other girls can say anything about it.” – Cady Heron.

While this quote hasn’t exactly aged well since the 2004 release of Mean Girls, these tattoos embrace ghoul power and positively highlight the Halloween scene in the movie and even take quotes from the characters to create some especially spoopy pieces.

Attitudes towards women (and people in general) dressing as they so please and tattooed bodies have certainly shifted in the past two decades, and what better way to reflect this positive societal change than with some brilliantly executed tattoos?

I’ve found ten tattoos to share, with Karen and her mouse costume a clear favourite, and a even couple of Hocus Pocus mashups included. In the future, I’d love to see someone get a tattoo of Cady in her actually scary Halloween costume of a zombie ex-wife, or one of Gretchen in her cat outfit.

Which style and scene or character will you select for your Mean Girls tattoo? Do you plan on sticking with the Plastics’ favourite colour or make it really spooky with blood and gore elements?

If you and your tattooer copy any of these tattoos, I’ve got three words for you: “Boo, you whore!”
