Kuromi was created by Sanrio in 2005 and will turn 20 next year. Her name translate from Japanese to English as black (kuro) beauty (mi). Kurumi Nui is the human form of Kuromi.
Kuromi is a female rabbit who wears a jokers hat emblazoned with a pink skull, and a black tail. The expression on the skull will change to represent Kuromi’s current mood.
Somewhat the emo/punk of the Sanrio universe, Kuromi is leader of Kuromi’s 5, a biker gang that ride tricycles. Kuromi is the cutest punk you’ll ever meet.
