‘The Nun’ Tattoos Have Been Conjured

You won’t find Whoopi Goldberg as her character from Sister Act here, but you may need to watch that movie to get the image of this nun out of your mind!

Valak was first introduced in 2016’s The Conjuring 2. Valac is a demonic being, however the nun, Valak is in no way inspired by mythology – they just share a name. Valak takes either the form of The Crooked Man or a demonic nun.

Valak made a small cameo in Annabelle: Creation (2017) a year before The Nun was released, and then returned to cinema screens in 2023’s The Nun II.

For a supernatural horror movie, realism is the predominant choice when it comes to Valak/The Nun tattoos. With no confirmed planned for a third The Nun movie, you can keep the scares coming with your own Valak tattoo.
