Wazzup?! This Is Your Call to Get a ‘Scary Movie’ Tattoo

The Wayans brothers are returning to the franchise they created, Scary Movie, and bringing us another installment in the horror parody series.

Did you know? Scream was originally titled Scary Movie.

While being a spoof of the horror genre as a whole, the first Scary Movie film heavily parodied mainly the first Scream movie (along with I Know What You Did Last Summer), with the killer wearing a version of the Ghostface mask. The Wayans brothers were only involved in Scary Movie and 2001’s Scary Movie 2, with Keenen Ivory Wayans directing, and Shawn and Marlon writing and acting. The franchise continued with the David Zucker directed Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Scary Movie 4 (2006). There was a seven year break before the David Zucker written Scary Movie 5.

The sixth Scary Movie film is set to be released 25 years after the original, tying its inspiration, Scream, with the same amount of movies in the series.

There’s no consensus on how “wazzup” should be spelled, but there’s no argument to be made about how well these tattoos portray the ridiculousness of a scene and a character from the first two Scary Movie films.
