With just a handful of appearances remaining in 2025, you soon won’t see John Cena in the WWE as he retires from professional wrestling and his illustrious 20-plus year career comes to an end.
John Cena made his debut when he answered Kurt Angle’s open challenge on the June 27, 2002 SmackDown! episode.
2002 was the year of the debut for more future stars such as the likes of Randy Orton, Batista, and Brock Lesnar, marking the beginning of the Ruthless Aggression era.
If you’re an OG John Cena fan, you’ll remember – maybe even own – his debut (and only) hip hop studio album, You Can’t See Me, which celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this year.
Outside of wrestling, Cena holds the Make-A-Wish title and Guinness World Record for the number of wishes granted by an individual at over 650.
Cena, like The Rock, seemed destined for the silver screen. In fact, he made his film debut as a background extra in 2000’s Ready to Rumble alongside a slew of World Championship Wrestling stars. Luckily for both Cena and his fans, his subsequent movies have been met with far more positive reviews.
I would normally ask you if you’re interested in adding a tattoo to your collection, but the real question is: you can’t see these John Cena tattoos… or can you?
If the thought of copying any of the below tattoos so much as even crosses your mind, you could use one of John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment finishers.
