Fancy and Floral Food Tattoos by Isobel Morton

When she’s not producing animal or pop culture themed tattoos at Nomad Private Studio in Birmingham, England, Isobel Morton is baking up some pretty tasty food tattoos.

These aren’t your standard food tattoos, nor are they kawaii foods with smiling faces. These tattoos from Isobel are levelled up food tattoos, with decorative elements and high tea (or even Marie Antoinette) vibes.

There’s a little something here for those of you from the US, UK and Australia (the countries of the majority of TTA visitors). There’s waffles and pumpkin pie for the Americans, and various biscuits and cakes for the Brits. The quokka eating fairy bread is all the more special since I’m Australian.

Isobel’s piece has to be the first hot cross buns tattoo I’ve come across in the years I’ve produced tattoo content – it was one baked good I wasn’t sure I’d ever see made into a tattoo. Some supermarkets sell them for months prior to and following Easter, so why not have one with you year round?

Are you hungry for a new tattoo, but not a food themed one? Isobel’s Instagram feed is filled with a heap of Pusheen pieces, and tattoos inspired by video games (Animal Crossing, especially), Disney, animals, flowers, and pop culture. Once you’re done here be sure to go and give her a follow.
