Depicted by Didi Conn, Frenchy leaves Rydell High to pursue a career in beauty, only to return a short time later. Despite being a secondary character in the musical film adaptation of the stage musical Grease, Frenchy, with her accidentally pink hair is a favourite with tattoo collectors.
Life doesn’t always go to plan and we all may not manage to achieve our dreams. Frenchy can serve as a reminder not to be afraid of failure, recognising how difficult it can be to learn something new, and that maybe the universe has different plans for us.
The pink hair was unintentional, but Frenchy rocked the shit out of it.
If we follow the Mean Girls rules of wearing pink on Wednesdays, then surely if you were to get a tattoo of one of the iconic Pink Ladies from Grease, more specifically Frenchy, you would have to book your appointment for a Wednesday?
